Reviewer Guidelines
JEDMI: Journal of Education and Multidisciplinary Studies relies on the professionalism and academic expertise of its peer reviewers to maintain the quality, credibility, and scientific rigor of every published article. Therefore, reviewers are expected to perform their role with objectivity, ethical responsibility, and a commitment to scholarly excellence.
Responsibilities of Reviewers:
- Assess scientific quality by evaluating the originality of the manuscript, its relevance to the journal’s scope, clarity of ideas, methodological accuracy, and overall contribution to the field of education and multidisciplinary research
- Provide constructive feedback by giving clear, specific, and helpful comments to support authors in improving their manuscript in terms of both content and structure
- Ensure confidentiality by treating the manuscript and all of its contents as confidential information and refraining from using or sharing it for personal or third-party benefit. In addition, reviewers’ comments in the assessment form must not contain any personal identity or names in order to maintain anonymity and objectivity
- Disclose conflicts of interest by declining the review if there is any potential conflict of interest or a close personal or professional connection with the authors that may compromise impartiality
- Conduct timely review by submitting the assessment and completing the review form through the JEDMI OJS platform within the timeframe set by the editorial team
All manuscript evaluations are conducted under a double-blind peer review system, where both authors’ and reviewers’ identities are kept confidential to preserve neutrality and fairness.
Reviewers are requested to provide one of the following recommendations based on their evaluation:
- Accept without revision
- Accept with minor revision
- Accept with major revision
- Reject
