Pengaruh Strategi Coping, Self-Efficacy, dan Hardiness terhadap Stres Akademik Mahasiswa Penyusun Skripsi

Abstract

Mahasiswa tingkat akhir yang sedang menyusun skripsi sering menghadapi tuntutan akademik yang dapat memicu stres akademik. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis pengaruh strategi coping, self-efficacy, dan hardiness terhadap stres akademik mahasiswa penyusun skripsi. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain survei cross-sectional pada 100 mahasiswa tingkat akhir yang dipilih melalui purposive sampling. Data dikumpulkan menggunakan kuesioner skala Likert dan dianalisis dengan regresi linier berganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa strategi coping (β = −0,356; p < 0,001), self-efficacy (β = −0,269; p = 0,005), dan hardiness (β = −0,402; p < 0,001) berpengaruh negatif dan signifikan terhadap stres akademik mahasiswa. Model penelitian mampu menjelaskan 55,9% variasi stres akademik (R² = 0,559), dengan hardiness sebagai variabel yang paling dominan. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan coping, keyakinan terhadap kemampuan diri, dan ketangguhan kepribadian berperan penting dalam menurunkan stres akademik mahasiswa. Penelitian ini menegaskan pentingnya penguatan coping, self-efficacy, dan hardiness melalui dukungan akademik dan psikologis di perguruan tinggi untuk membantu mahasiswa mengelola stres selama penyelesaian skripsi.
