Reviewer Guidelines

JEBMAFA: Journal of Economics, Business, Management, Accounting, Finance, and Administration relies on the valuable contributions of peer reviewers to uphold the quality and scientific integrity of every article published. Therefore, reviewers are expected to carry out their duties objectively, professionally, and in accordance with the principles of ethical peer review.

The responsibilities of reviewers include:

  1. Evaluating the scientific substance of the manuscript, including its originality, topic relevance, clarity of argumentation, methodological rigor, and overall contribution to the advancement of knowledge.
  2. Providing constructive feedback to help authors improve the quality of their manuscript in terms of content and structure.
  3. Maintaining confidentiality of all manuscript information and refraining from using it for personal or third-party benefit. In addition, comments in the article review form should not contain any personal identity or name disclosure to ensure anonymity and objectivity.
  4. Declaring any conflict of interest, and declining to review if impartiality cannot be maintained or if there is a direct connection with the author(s).
  5. Delivering assessments and recommendations within the time frame set by the editorial team, and completing the review form provided in the JEBMAFA OJS system.

All reviews are conducted under a double-blind peer review system, where the identities of both authors and reviewers are kept confidential to ensure objectivity. Reviewers are also asked to recommend whether the manuscript should be:

  1. accepted without revision,
  2. accepted with minor revision,
  3. accepted with major revision, or
  4. rejected

The contribution of reviewers is essential to ensure that only articles meeting the highest academic standards are published by JEBMAFA: Journal of Economics, Business, Management, Accounting, Finance, and Administration. The editorial board greatly values the cooperation, commitment, and integrity of reviewers in fulfilling this important role.
